Born in South Africa, raised in England and now living in the United States my thirst for traveling has always been unquenchable. I started my life on cruise ships as an onboard golf professional with Carnival and Celebrity Cruise Lines. I was lucky enough to sail to the Caribbean, Mexico, South America and Mediterranean. After a smooth transition into the role of Port & Shopping Guide with Celebrity, Princess and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, I continued to sail all over the World including contracts to the Baltic, Scandinavia, Mediterranean, Mexico and Caribbean.

Now, as a Concierge for Zanza Blue, based in San Diego, California, I am helping all sorts of people find and plan their vacation of a lifetime…and playing golf and surfing. Singles, couples, families, family reunions, golf cruises – there’s something for everyone! I know the ships, the food, the ports, the shore excursions, the shopping and, definitely, the golf! I began my travel endeavors in 2000 with Renaissance Cruise Lines in Tahiti and I have had the cruising bug ever since. Over the years while onboard I managed the entire staff of musicians in the position of Musical Director (studied Trumpet Performance at the University of Washington) on Holland America, Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity and Princess Cruise Lines. I loved the freedom my position gave me to meet and mingle with new people creating a memorable experience with everyone I encountered aboard. I love to Scuba Dive and more importantly golf. While onboard I would assist the onboard Golf Pro ashore which gave me access to some of the greatest golf courses throughout the world.

In addition I also assisted the onboard Cruise Line Vacation Specialists with booking Guests on future cruises. I was born and raised in Seattle WA where at a young age lost my left leg due to spinal meningitis. Being a crew member with a prosthetic leg made me very aware of what ships have to offer travelers with disabilities and what passengers should know prior to and when cruising. I have since returned to land where I now live and work in New York City. Along with working full time I am a sponsored adaptive sports athlete, play wheelchair basketball for the New York Knicks, still enjoy travel, live music, great food and making the most of life. Having met so many guests on ships I know my services as a Concierge will provide you with the perfect cruise.
